Amanda Nazario
Hawaii Lead Wedding planner & Co-Owner
Amanda has been with Savvy Weddings for 8 years and truly has a passion for wedding planning. She started working as a day of assistant and is now Co-Owner & Lead Wedding Planner in Hawaii.
Favorite Part of Weddings: Wedding day as a whole. Everyone is in a great mood, because love is literally in the air. Experiencing a couple's wedding day with them is extremely special.
Fun Fact: Amanda’s guilty pleasure is Dr. Pepper.
Alyssa Johnston
Day of Assistant
Alyssa loves being creative and planning parties for her three children. She found a passion when she started working as a Day of assistant. Alyssa is a wonderful addition to the team with her kind spirit, organization and ability to handle any problems that arise!
Favorite Part of Weddings: The excitement that wedding day brings. All the planning, anticipation and hard work come to light to create the perfect moment in time, that each couple will remember forever.
Fun Fact: Alyssa is also a flight attendant for Hawaiian Airlines.
Jennifer Kahunahana
Wedding Consultant
Jenn is the founder of Savvy Weddings. Before creating Savvy Weddings, she was the catering manager at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Over the past few years, Jenn has stepped back from being as involved with weddings, however she serves as a great resource for whole team! You will still see her occasionally helping out on wedding day!
Favorite Part of Weddings: Being a part of something so monumental in a couple’s life. There are very few events in a person’s life that stand out as much as a wedding and I get to have a hand in creating that memory. Bonus - I get to do it as a job. Not to mention that weddings are a blast.
Fun Fact: Jenn has 6 kids!
Sandra Cooper
Lead California Wedding Planner & Co Owner
Sandra fell in love with weddings at a young age and has been planning events for friends and family since she was little. She decided to pursue a career in the wedding industry and signed up to take Cal State East Bay’s Wedding Planning Certificate Program. Through this program she became a Certified Wedding Planner (CWP). Since obtaining her certificate, Sandra has worked at venues in Northern California as a catering manager, before transitioning to private planning with Savvy Weddings.
Favorite Part of Weddings: Her favorite part of weddings is seeing the design concept come together. She says “It’s so satisfying to envision something and see it all come to life. I love that feeling when I can tell I made a Bride’s dream wedding a reality.”
Fun Fact: Sandra has 2 Corgis, Summer & Winston.
Angeline Brew
Wedding Consultant
Angie was born and raised in Northern California, lived in Hawaii for about 10 years, and met her husband who moves her around every two to three years. She previously worked as a Zipline Tour Guide at Kualoa Ranch, and did some volunteer work overseas. She loves coffee, ice cream, hiking, and traveling.
Favorite Part of Weddings: Seeing all the creative ideas that come from our planning team and clients.
Fun Fact: Angie hired Savvy Weddings to plan her wedding before joining the team.
